Maintenance of Goldfish Aquariums

When breeding, each fish requires about 15 gallons of water but in general about 10 to 20 gallons of water per fish should be adequate. It is important that the water in the aquarium is always maintained absolutely clean. The useful algae formation is prevented by the direct sunlight. The water in the tank can become very cold which may be harmful or may kill fish in the tank. Adequate artificial lighting has to be provided for a healthy environment.
